Free Clip Art: Vintage Roses
It’s summertime as I write this, so the flowers are in bloom. The vintage roses below, however, are always in bloom — even though most are decades old. These beautiful vintage free clip art roses span from the Victorian era to the mid-twentieth century, and they’re just as beautiful now as the day they were created.
If you love flowers (and who doesn’t?), you might also enjoy our collection of beautiful assorted vintage flowers. See our vintage angels and cherubs too!

Hi
I am part of a vintage blog A Vintage Affair! I am running a challenge for the next two weeks. The challenge is to make a card using a vintage rose!
Love all the images that you have on here! I will be linking back to here so the members can download the rose images and use them on your card, and I will also ask members, if they post the cards on their own blogs, to link back here too!
Thanks for providing all these wonderful images FREE!

Absolutely gorgeous artwork! Do you have any vintage carnations – MY favourite flower!! May I send your website to a dear friend of mine? She would just love the roses – HER favourite flower! Sorry, I don’t have a website.
Hi, Dianne. Thanks for your kind words. I’m not sure whether there are any carnations, but you can check my two off-site vintage flower pages by clicking the ads in the right sidebar and also by looking at the flower category in the left sidebar.
Please feel free to send the site’s URL to your friend. The more, the merrier!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I can’t thank you enough for sharing these beautiful roses with me. Finding your web site has made my day. I am disabled and dabble in various crafts to keep myself busy and to make gifts for friends. These roses will come in handy. I don’t have time to check everything out on your web site tonight but it sure looks impressive! I’ll be back for sure.
You’re quite welcome, Jacqueline. I’m so glad you’ll find good “homes” for the roses. Use them in good health. ๐

Hello, lovely collection here.
I am currently designing a website for our state Rose Society, these images would be perfect for them. Can you please email me some details on how I can use them without a creditors links. ie purchase a license.
Thank you,
I printed some roses, but the color looks terrible. was I supposed to use photo paper? please advise
There are a number of reasons this might be happening. I can’t remember anyone ever mentioning this before, so I imagine the problem is with your printer. You can try different paper, and also check the printer settings to make sure they match the paper. For example, don’t use the highest or “best” (or equivalent) with cheap bond paper. That will saturate the paper and skew the color.
