St. Patrick’s Day Free Vintage Clip Art: Shamrocks Greeting Cards
What could be more representative of St. Patrick’s Day or Ireland than shamrocks? That’s why there are so many of them to be found on vintage St. Patrick’s Day greeting cards. I love the vintage cards below, because they express so much national pride and love for Ireland. Several of the cards even include paintings of famous Irish scenes, such Blarney Castle — home of the Blarney stone — and the Lakes of Killarney. There also are other iconic St. Patrick’s Day symbols, such as pipes, top hats, Irish flags and the shillelagh (pronounced shill-lay-lee), which is a wooden club.
Another reason I love these cards is that they’re so very green. Doesn’t that color just make you think of spring?

Wow, that is so generous. I love these images and as I haven’t started my scrapbooking project for St Patty’s day yet, they are most welcome. Finding them is good luck indeed.
🙂
Thanks for sharing…. I think I’ll make a digital greeting card out of them ~ check back on my blog in a little while, and you’ll see.

Would it be possible for you to design a “button” for us to put on our blogs? I use your digital art frequently and I would like to have a permanent picture and a link on my blog. Thanks.
