Vintage Art: Free Printable Birthday Cards

When it comes to honoring a birthday, you can’t beat these vintage free printable birthday cards. Not that there’s anything wrong with modern birthday card designs; they’re great. But sometimes it’s just nice to summon up the feeling of yesteryear.

These cards convey both an elegance and a sense of whimsy, which I’m sure will be appreciated by the recipients. And to make them even more special, try adding just a touch of glitter glue to embellish them. But don’t use a lot or the card stock might warp and the colors might run. You don’t need much to achieve a nice effect anyway. Just small dabs on highlighted areas can make a big difference.

However you embellish them, or even if you don’t, I hope you enjoy these free printable birthday cards. And if you’re in the market for birthday party favors and decorations to go along with a card, click the link in this sentence. They have some fun stuff, some of which can be incorporated into craft projects!

  4. I’m in the process of establishing a policy about this. I’m also getting over a cold, so I need a few days before I can get back to everyone with answers.

I’m not sure the e-mail address I have for you is configured properly. If you’d like to send me an e-mail (see the About Us page) so I know I have the correct address, I’ll write as soon as I can.

thank you for writing back hope your cold gets better sue

  6. Hi, Susan. I tried e-mailing you but the message bounced. Could you please send an e-mail to info @ vintageholidaycrafts .com (you’ll need to close the spaces within the address to make it work), so I’ll have a good e-mail address for you? Thanks.

  7. Hi Sue. I tried sending the message to the e-mail address you left again in the comments but it bounced again. So here’s what I wrote:

“Thanks for your patience! I’m still sick, but I didn’t want to keep you waiting any longer. As of now, my policy is that you can use the art for whatever you want in print form, with two provisos:

    1. You understand that I’ve done everything I can to ensure the art is in the public domain, but that with so many images, I can’t guarantee that. So, you have to take responsibility for an image’s use if someone has a copyright claim. Chances of that are probably quite remote because of the age of the images, but I feel it’s important to bring up that it’s a possibility. Usually the worst thing that would happen would be that the person would ask you to stop using the image and you would, which would be the end of it.

    2. Please use “Image from VintageHolidayCrafts.com” on the back of each product. If you can also provide a link on a web site or blog, that would be appreciated as well. Please link to http://vintageholidaycrafts.com using the term “Vintage art” as the text that displays. If you don’t know how to make the “Vintage art” text display, you can just use “vintageholidaycrafts.com” as the link.

You can’t, however, use more than three pieces of the art to post on any one page of a Web site or blog. If you do post one to three pieces online, the credits above apply.

When I feel better I’ll flesh out the policy some more and post it on the site.
