Free Printable Easter Greeting Cards: Vintage Cats and Kittens

I’ll admit it, I’m a sucker for cats in general. And when it comes to vintage cats, forget about it; I’m in love. These particular vintage cats on free printable Easter cards were just too cute to hold back. I like the fact that the top row contains a set of three matching images. They have a lot of potential for Easter scrapbooks because you can carry a theme throughout various pages. And the other Easter cards are adorable too. I’m sure you’ll find many uses for them.

Of course, we don’t want to think what would happen if these cats were actually in such close proximity to baby chicks. Let’s just focus on the idealized world of the kitties and baby chicks on these vintage Easter cards and leave it at that!

I’ve been a cat lover all my life but I don’t think I’ve ever posted my cat’s photos on any of my blogs. I did write about Chad’s passing in this post about vintage Halloween black cats though. He was so much a part of my life for 17 years, I still consider him to be one of my cats. So you’ll see him pictured below, along with the two crazy cats with whom we currently share our home, Sim and Joseph. Please pardon Sim’s lack of decorum. She enjoys showing off her belly like no other cat I’ve ever seen. And if you ever meet Joseph, please don’t tell him he’s beautiful. He already knows, believe me.

I would love it if I could get my cats centered. But like in real life, they’re a little askew. I’ve fixed the centering on these pics 10 times but it doesn’t want to stick. Oh well.

Free Vintage New Year Cards

Can you believe that it’s almost time for another new year? No matter how you might feel about the swift passage of time (at least it seems incredibly swift to me), you’ve got to love these vintage New Year cards. Unlike vintage Christmas cards, which have pretty predictable themes; the subjects portrayed on these New Year’s cards vary widely. In addition to the expected champagne, clocks, and good-luck four-leaf clovers and horseshoes; there are cats, angels, pansies, birds, country scenes, blue Delft tiles and even an elf or two.

Free Vintage Christmas Cards: Here Come the Cats!

I’m a big cat lover, so that’s why you see images of cats popping up on Vintage Holiday Crafts. (Dog lovers, I’ll have some images for you soon.) Each of the vintage Christmas cards below feature cats or kittens and are beautiful examples of classic vintage art. There’s even one design that originally had texture on the card, which translated pretty well to digital form.

Free Vintage Halloween Black Cats Cards

As a cat lover, the Halloween black cat has always been close to my heart. And because up until a few months ago I had two black cats, these iconic images are even more interesting to me. I write this with tears in my eyes, because this particular portion of the Vintage Holiday Crafts collection is being posted in memory of Chad, one of my black cats, who passed away on April 14, 2008. But Chad and I shared many happy Halloweens together, so let’s call this an homage instead of a memorial!
